Owner feedback
We did not find an independent owner roundup. The product page is marketing copy. David's Been Here, in May 2026, said Consumer Reports tested an Ultracook and found decent food, recipes that needed workarounds, and blades that sometimes over-processed vegetables. That is a second-hand summary. The Consumer Reports review was not available to us, so those details stay attributed to that article.
Score breakdown
5.5/10- Capability 25%6/10
The product page lists weighing, a 3 L bowl, 98°F to 320°F, a 500 W motor, a 1,200 W heater, and more than 15 functions, with steamer parts in the box. Another ChefRobot page says 3.5 L and 1,000 W. Until the maker's pages agree, the capability score stays at 6.

- Recipe ecosystem 20%5/10
A mirrored CR-7 user manual states 500+ guided recipes on the touchscreen. The product page still does not publish a count, and the PDF was not retrieved from the brand’s own file host. A May 2026 article’s figure of about 600 recipes is still not used as a manufacturer spec. The manual count is why this is 5 rather than 4. It stays below a library we could confirm on the maker’s own site.

- Ease of use 15%5/10
The product page describes a touchscreen and step-by-step guided cooking. The only independent account we could use is a summary of a Consumer Reports test that mentioned recipe workarounds. We did not read that test, so ease of use stays in the middle.

- Cleanup 10%6/10
The product page lists self-cleaning among its functions, and the bowl parts come out. An earlier reading of the spec block did not document that cycle. We did not run it, so this is 6 rather than higher.

- Build and reliability 15%4/10
We found no independent durability study and no warranty line on the product page. The conflicting bowl and heater figures on ChefRobot's own pages also lower confidence in the published spec. This is not a claim that the machine fails.

- Value 15%7/10
At $649.99 against a $999.99 compare-at price on the product page, this is the lowest verified price in the set for a machine that claims the core weigh, heat, and chop jobs. The mirrored manual now states 500+ recipes, but the product page still does not publish a count and two ChefRobot pages still disagree on bowl size. The score stays 7.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Pro: The product page listed $649.99 on 30 September 2026, the lowest price we could verify in this set, and it includes a scale, heater, and steamer parts.
- Pro: ChefRobot sells it for 110 V use and says the older CR-7 name is this Ultracook.
Cons
- Con: Two ChefRobot pages disagree on bowl size (3 L vs 3.5 L) and heater power (1,200 W vs 1,000 W).
- Con: No Amazon ASIN was verified. A published summary of a Consumer Reports test reported recipe workarounds. We did not read that test.
To be confirmed
These points are not filled in from retailer or Amazon copy.
- Bowl-capacity conflict: brand-sponsored copy and the brand's marketing director (via Consumer Reports) both state 3.5 L for the standard Ultracook, but the brand's own blog posts also describe it as '3L capacity'; using 3.5 L as the primary value pending brand confirmation.
- Missing and left out (not guessed): voltage, power rating, warranty terms, MSRP on the official store, UPC for the Max.
