For brands and PR
Work with us
If you make or represent a robot or smart kitchen appliance sold in the United States, you can send specs, photos, and a review unit. Here is what we offer, what we ask for, and what a unit does not buy.
Offer
What we offer brands
A fair, sourced review
A review uses manufacturer pages, spec sheets, manuals, and independent tests. Every fact is sourced.
Category comparisons
A machine can be included in the comparison for its category when that comparison is on the site.
Links to official documents
Pages link to the official spec sheet and manual when we have a stable address for them.
Corrections
If a spec is wrong, email info@robochefcentral.com. We update the page and note the correction.
Ask
What we ask for
A press contact
A person we can email when a spec, photo, or model number needs a check.
US spec sheets and manuals
The documents for the model sold in the United States, not a different regional version.
Hi-res product photos
Written permission for editorial use, and the credit line you want printed with the photo.
US model numbers
The model number on the US unit, so the page does not mix it up with another version.
A review or loaner unit
A unit we can use for a hands-on test. Sending one is optional. It is how a review becomes a tested review.
Review units
What a review unit does not buy
- The brand chooses whether the unit is kept or returned.
- Every review of a free or loaned unit says so. That disclosure is an FTC requirement.
- Receiving a unit never guarantees coverage or a good score.
- We do not write paid reviews. Brands cannot pay for a score or for placement.
- We do not send drafts for approval. We do welcome fact-checking.
Commissions, when a reader buys through an Amazon link, are described on the affiliate disclosure. Scoring rules are on How we research.
Coverage
What is on the site now
Categories shown here have a published comparison. The comparisons are listed with them.
Categories
All-in-one cooking robots
One-bowl machines that weigh, heat, chop, and stir, usually with guided recipes. This category uses its own score weights, listed on How we research, because the recipe library and what the bowl can do matter more here than cleanup.
Smart multicookers and pressure cookers
Electric pressure cookers and multicookers for US buyers, including app-connected models and plain programmable pots. This category uses its own score weights, listed on How we research, because an app and on-device programs are a separate reason to buy one.
Comparisons
Best all-in-one cooking robots
Four machines qualified. The Thermomix TM7 is the guided-recipe benchmark and is not sold on Amazon.
Best smart multicookers and pressure cookers
Nine current models. The Instant Pot Pro Plus and the Duo Crisp Smart tie on the calculated score. Only the Breville has no Amazon ASIN.
