Buyer note
Discontinued, and not a normal retired model. CPSC warning 26-280 (February 24, 2026) says to stop using the GPC625 and dispose of it. Do not sell it or give it away. The importer and Best Buy did not agree to a recall CPSC would accept, so that warning includes no recall remedy.

The lid can open while the cooker is still pressurized, the float valve is inside the handle and hard to see, and the inner pot volume markings are incorrect. About 43,500 units were sold from 2017 to 2020, mostly at Best Buy, for between $50 and $80. CPSC reports five incidents, four with severe burns, and at least two lawsuits. The importer and Best Buy did not agree to a recall CPSC would accept.
