Verdict

On the published record, the TM7 is the reference machine in this set: a documented bowl and steamer, and the only Cookidoo library. It is also the most expensive, and a WIRED kitchen test still had the cook prepping food and scrubbing the bowl. Buy it for guided recipes, not because a page here tasted the food.

Bowl: 2.2 L maximum on the US support page. The shop page also calls the bowl 2.1 L.
Heat: Open cooking up to 100°C with no blade rotation, per Vorwerk US. A sealed maximum temperature was not in that US spec note.

Owner feedback

Thermomix USA publishes selected owner comments that praise the screen, quieter cooking, and guided recipes. Those are seller-hosted reviews, not an independent sample. WIRED's November 2025 report is the independent account we used: the reporter still prepped food, loved the mashed potatoes and a squash dish, had a failed in-bowl mac and cheese, and still chose the TM7 over Posha for reliability.

Cookidoo is claimed at more than 100,000 guided recipes, with three months included and then $65 a year. WIRED describes a large, long-tested library and also says some recipes send food to the oven. The count is the maker's figure, so this stays short of 10.

The US shop lists a 2-year limited warranty. WIRED cites the long Thermomix line and chose the TM7 over a newer robot because of that record. We did not find an independent failure-rate study, and the comments on the shop page are selected by the seller.

At the $1,699 list price on the US shop, plus Cookidoo after the trial, this is the most expensive machine in the set. The recipe library is what that price is buying. It is a weak value if those guided recipes will not be used.

Pros

The largest guided-recipe platform in this set, on Cookidoo, plus a US support note that documents the bowl and Varoma.
A WIRED reporter who cooked Thanksgiving sides on a TM7 preferred its track record to a newer countertop robot.

Cons

Thermomix USA listed it at $1,699 on 30 September 2026, and Cookidoo is $65 a year after the trial.
It is not sold on Amazon. The same WIRED test still required prep, and one in-bowl mac and cheese recipe failed.
