Thermomix TM7 vs CookingPal Multo
The TM7 is the Cookidoo machine Thermomix USA listed at $1,699. The Multo is the one-bowl cooker matched to Amazon ASIN B096LR6CC3. Bowl size, heat, and manual cooking are not settled in one place. This is not a hands-on test.

These are both one-bowl machines that weigh, chop, heat, and stir. They are not the same purchase. The Thermomix TM7 is sold by Thermomix USA, with Cookidoo on a screen that is part of the machine. The CookingPal Multo is run from a separate tablet, and it is the model in this set with an Amazon ASIN matched to a model number. The scored table is best all-in-one cooking robots. We did not cook with either one.
Price and where they are sold
On 1 October 2026 the Thermomix USA shop listed the Thermomix TM7 at $1,699. The page also showed a limited-time free serving bowl with that purchase. Cookidoo is claimed at more than 100,000 guided recipes. A new subscriber gets three months, then $65 a year. The shop says the trial is for new subscribers only. The same page lists a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty and a consultant welcome visit. Thermomix USA sells it from the shop and through consultants. There is no Amazon button, because we did not find an official Amazon.com listing.
The Multo prices in print are older. CNET's January 2023 review cited $999. AndroidGuys on 30 June 2026 said about $1,000. The 2021 launch article's early-bird price was $799, which is not a current price. On 30 September 2026 Amazon.com ASIN B096LR6CC3 was titled as the CookingPal Multo and showed model SKA-CP-MUL-WHI-528. This post did not reload a full listing page on 1 October 2026, and it does not state a current Amazon price. Confirm the title, the model, and that it is in stock before you buy.
Bowl, heat, and scale
The TM7 shop page does not use one bowl figure. The key features say a 2.2-liter mixing bowl. The mixing-bowl section on the same page says 2.1L. Vorwerk's US technical note says the maximum capacity is 2.2 liters, so TM5 and TM6 recipes stay compatible. That note also says the Varoma set with the tray is 6.8 liters and 45% more steaming capacity than the TM6. The machine is listed at 33.6 cm high, 25.3 cm wide, 40.5 cm deep, and 8.6 kg. The technical note we opened does not give a sealed maximum temperature or a gram range for the scale.
Multo figures are from 2021, because a current CookingPal spec sheet did not load for the product page on 30 September 2026 and this post did not find a newer one. The Spoon's 11 May 2021 launch piece lists a 3 L / 3.1 qt stainless bowl, a scale to 3 kg accurate to 5 g, heat to 265°F / 130°C, and 10 speeds up to 5,200 rpm. MakeUseOf, citing the pre-release manual the same month, lists 3.1 qt, about 1,200 W, and 120 V. CNET later described a 3-quart bowl. Treat 130°C as the launch heat ceiling, not as a 2026 spec we rechecked on a maker page.
Recipes and who is holding the controls
Cookidoo is the TM7's whole pitch: a large guided library, Wi-Fi in the machine, and the steps on its own screen. WIRED's November 2025 account still describes the cook as the prep cook. Some recipes send food to the oven. The library count on the shop page is the maker's figure.
The Multo has no buttons on the base. CNET said the Smart Kitchen Hub tablet is required, that recipe access was free, and that in January 2023 the guided count was still in the dozens or hundreds. That reviewer also ran a bread dough in manual mode. AndroidGuys on 30 June 2026 reported 200+ guided recipes and about five new ones a week, and said a family bread recipe could not be run outside the guided set. Those two reports disagree about cooking off the guided list. This post does not resolve it.
CNET's hub dropped Wi-Fi and had to be reconnected. The separate tablet is an extra part. AndroidGuys also wrote that electrical and battery-powered components had a two-year warranty and accessories six months. MakeUseOf in 2021 said the warranty was one year. We did not confirm either figure on a CookingPal warranty page, so neither number is treated as the current policy.
What other people cooked
WIRED's Matthew Korfhage cooked Thanksgiving sides on a TM7 and on a Posha, and published that on 21 November 2025. He still peeled and chopped. An in-bowl mac and cheese recipe dumped the cheese in at once and clumped, and he finished it in a pan. Mashed potatoes were the dish he singled out as fast and lump-free. Brussels sprouts left browned bits that a water-and-vinegar pre-clean did not remove. He preferred the TM7 to Posha because of the longer track record, not because the TM7 cooked without him. The article's retail price matches the $1,699 still on the shop page. We did not repeat that menu, and we are not copying his taste scores.
CNET's January 2023 kitchen test said the Multo did chop, weigh, sauté, steam, and knead, generally not as well as a single-purpose tool. Sauté did not brown like a saucepan, and burnt-on food still had to be scrubbed under the blade after a clean cycle. The reviewer also said it does not pressure cook, so it does not replace an Instant Pot. AndroidGuys in June 2026 still treated the Multo as a current machine, liked weighing straight into the bowl, and liked the quick and deep clean. MakeUseOf's May 2021 cook is a pre-release test. It is a source for the manual's wattage and bowl size, not a picture of the machine in 2026.
The shop page hosts selected owner comments about the TM7. Those are seller-hosted reviews. They are not an independent sample, and this post does not quote them or repeat the shop's star line.
Recorded specs
The table uses the spec lines already stored on each product. A cell that says "Not recorded" means that product file has no line with that id. It does not mean the machine lacks the part. The TM7 steamer, for example, is documented above and is only stored on the TM7.
| Spec | Thermomix TM7 | CookingPal Multo |
|---|---|---|
| Bowl | 2.2 L maximum on the US support page. The shop page also calls the bowl 2.1 L. | 3 L / 3.1 qt in the launch specs and in a review that cites the manual. Not reconfirmed on a 2026 spec sheet. |
| Heat | Open cooking up to 100°C with no blade rotation, per Vorwerk US. A sealed maximum temperature was not in that US spec note. | Up to 265°F / 130°C in those same launch and manual-cited specs. |
| Scale | Integrated scale. The US spec note we read does not give the gram range. | Launch specs: to 3 kg, accurate to 5 g / 0.25 oz. CNET and AndroidGuys both used in-bowl weighing. |
| Guided recipes | Cookidoo, claimed at 100,000+ recipes. Three months included, then $65 a year. | AndroidGuys, 30 June 2026, reported 200+ guided recipes on the tablet. CNET in January 2023 said access was free and the count was still in the dozens or hundreds. |
| Where to buy | Thermomix USA shop and consultants. Not sold on Amazon. | Amazon.com ASIN B096LR6CC3, model SKA-CP-MUL-WHI-528. Current stock was not confirmed. |

Which page to open next
Buy the TM7, on this record, if the reason is the guided library and you will pay the shop price plus Cookidoo after the trial. Read the TM7 research review before the shop comments. The WIRED test is the independent account, and it still required prep and a scrub.
The Multo research review is the one to open if you want the machine that has a matched Amazon listing. The documented heat cap is lower, the recipe count in the 2026 review is far smaller than Cookidoo's claim, and the tablet is not optional in the CNET account. Manual cooking is an open disagreement between that 2023 test and the June 2026 review.
